I am looking into switching from my PC where, I used Ulead to edit my PAL and NTSC documentary films to a new PowerBook. I am pretty informed about the hardware which will consist of the 12 inch model maxed out with RAM and a enternal Hard Drive to store my source footage. Along with the mentioned HW, I would like to now if it is possible to feed PAL and NTSC footage into a single film (sequence) using FC4?

I just don't think so.

You have to set sequence setting according to standards and codec.

You can't mix them between PAL and NTSC because they run at a different frame rate, among other things.

Different sequences, however, can have different settings.
