I've just ordered a dual g4 1.25GHz Powermac, and I have an RTmac card left over from my old computer. RTmac real time effects and software/cpu real time effects can not be used at the same time. I know I'll use the card for analog print/capture, NTSC monitor, and VGA monitor support, but it seems to me that there would be more real time effects using the software/cpu. Could someone please explain to me the real time pros and cons of each option? I'm upgrading to FCP 4 on my new computer. /2pop/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
