Anyone have any experience with this particular drive? Any foreseeable problems before I go out and purchase?

Thanks!

From the specs, I have no idea what this drive is.. which bridgeboard, which mechanism, etc. The best thing is always roll your own drive-- buy a drive and buy a good enclosure and throw the drive into the enclosure. It's a 2 minute deal. I personally think the Hitachi (formerly IBM) are the best drives. Look at granite digital, wiebetech, firewire direct, or firewire depot for enclosures based on the Oxford911 bridge chip.

Also Granite Digital makes a very good case.

scsipro.com, I believe.

Many of these premanufactured cases have poor power supplies, and sub standard connectors.

Also check with California drives as well. caldrives.com
