Duel monitor support for laptops or Emac?

Is there a breakout box or some other gizmo where I can use 2 monitors (able to drag cursor from one into the other) on my Emac. It might also be useful for my buddy's Powerbook.

Some PowerBooks support dual monitor support, others don't.

The eMacs, I believe, do not.

It's all in the firmware.

Even if the video card supports it, but Apple has disabled it, it won't work.
