Hi
I just got a 1.8 G5 and I am having a difficult time keeping solid communication between the camera and the G5 in fcp 4. I have the external video to all frames, log and capture off, device control set up properly and all is well when i start up and and open fcp. Sometimes the output pixelates into an unstable picture while at other times it dissappears completely. I can re-establish communication by logging off or restarting. Sometimes i can actually recive an incoming signal with log and capture open but no output once i turn it off. I am not having this problem with my G4 1.33 PB.
Any advise is greatly appreciated.
