Hi Guys,
I don't know very much about Raid systems. But was thinking that I could do with a better setup than I currently have. If I want to connect say three macs with FCP to one hard drive/server what is the easiest and most reliable way to do it cheaply? Can it be done using the La Cie FW drives I currently have, and will I need any other hardware for it? I currently have three la cie 400GB big disk drives (one FW 800 and two FW 400). It for DV, but would it also work for SD as well?
Other considerations are and SATA bridge, but cause I'm in the UK does anyone know were I could find out more about buying locally?
The three macs in question are powerbook G4 17", iMac 17", G5 Dual 2.0. Silly question - would using airport extreme be a posibility as its bandwdith is 54Mps - enough for DV?
Thanks
Shane
