BTW, there is an awesome iPhone app called pCam that has, amongst other fantastic film making calculation aids (DoF, FoV, Splits, Exposure, lighting, etc), a Time Lapse calculator that really rocks. Figures time of event, frame rate to shoot at, playback duration/frame rate, in any combination. Takes all the guess work out of a lot of issues with film making. Awesome app!

I do a good deal of nature photography time lapse, and this little gem saves me tons of time figuring out frame rates and such. We know exactly what we're shooting and ending up with in the blink of an eye.
