Lost AVID Dongle
Dear Friends;
I have an Avid Complete System , Avid Media Composer 2.8.1 with Adrenaline and dTective Filters from Ocean Systems, I have lost my dongles and Avid request to buy full license including New Media Composer License and Dongle, they will not sell replacement for lost dongles, so I am looking for any used good condition dongle for my system. Avid does sell replacements for lost dongles depending upon software licensing situation.

Avid dongle
I have a client that purchased a used computer with AMC 3.0 installed but no dongle. Will Avid sell a dongle or allow him to upgrade or does he have to buy a new/clean version of AMC 4.0?

Unless the seller of the computer also handed over the install disks and transferred the license to your client, that copy of Media Composer in invalid.
