SHOTGUN TD/ BUSINESS DEVELOPER

Rising Sun Pictures (RSP), a specialist film visual effects house, is looking for a Shotgun TD/Business Developer to join our Adelaide team.

Your primary function will be to develop new tools while pro-actively seeking to improve our current technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with artists & production crew
- Develop Production Management tools
- Maintain / improve existing tools such as Shotgun.
- Develop web based Business Tools
- Maintain/improve existing tools such as Timesheets, the Scheduler, and Forms
- Practice adaptive development methodologies (XP, Scrum, Agile).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent web knowledge
- Production experience
- 2-5 years development experience
- 1+ years of VFX production experience
- Python experience
- Ruby on rail and Java experience
- Database experience (postGresQL a bonus)
- Comp Science Degree or equivalent (Masters or above)
