P2 Card not fully offloading!?
I know there's a post similar to this but there was no confirmed "solved" listing for that thread. With that being said, my problem is I am ingesting clips but only part of them actually play during preview and after ingestion. For instance, i have a clip that's 2min long but only 30sec actually plays back. The duration lists the actual time length as 2min but it only plays 30 seconds of the clip.
I read in the manual about HOT-SWAP recording and continuous recording but I don't know how to shut that off, if possible. Furthermore, when I search the other 2 cards for the remainder of the clip(s), they care EMPTY! Is there some sort of recording setting i need to change? I am at a loss here.
Thanks in advance!

What camera/format (DVCPRO-HD P2, or AVCHD P2), what Mac, how much RAM, OS and FCP versions, are you reading cards from P2 card in camera, or adapter, or from a hard drive copy of P2 cards?

Sounds like spanned clips. Make sure you have all P2 cards from a day mounted before ingesting. (And grab my P2 training video- you'd save yourself a ton of time):

And on a Mac with FCP, you should be using FW to read P2 cards from the camera, faster, more stable.

I would suspect this is an issue of clips spanned across multiple cards i.e. two cards were loaded and a shot started on one and finished on another. In this case it would be fixed by first copying all the original P2 cards into separate folders on your hard drive.
Then launch Log and Transfer in FCP. Load in all those folders at the same time and ingest. FCP is smart enough to reconnect spanned clips as long as all the parts are mounted simultaneously in Log and Transfer.
