Default A 7D experiment

I am pleased to Introduce…

Wanted*
a short film

This classic western short was shot on a Cannon 7D. This project was largely our first experiment with DSLRs, but overall we were extremely surprised by the simplicity and quality that the 7D brings to the table. We hope to release the film by the end of the month, but for now please take a look at our Trailer or check out our website.

Take a look at our Trailer: http://vimeo.com/channels/wanted

Looks great- though some of the actors seem a little young for their roles

You obviously spent a lot of time and probably money (location and costumes) making this look really good. I'm curious why you just had your buddies and family members as the actors and didn't hire real actors. What a huge difference that would have made. Other than that, the look is very classic western. Well done.

Cuz actors cost $$$$ and come with unpleasant union concerns...

Yes, but if you've spent so much time and $ making everything look good, why would you ruin it by not hiring even non-union actors or actors who want something for their reel? Why have your buddies in it? Just ruins an otherwise really cool looking project. Just my opinion.

What makes you think it was intended for anything other than fun/learning. Life's too short to take anything too seriously...
