Default I´m A New Teacher In Video Production

I had been teaching basic video, such as language, video composition, and editing software to uni students. Lately another teacher had to quit and I will be teaching video production a more complex/ practical course, in this class the students are expect to produce at least 1 short film. I am familiar with the process...preproduction...script, storyboarding,...etc. But I will really appreciate if someone can guide me step by step how to work with students. Example... ideas for creative exercises in class.
Or a guide to prepare a good syllabus in order to complete good projects.
I really appreciate if someone can direct me a bit in this new challenge.
THANKS

Art,

I'm also going to be a new vp teacher this fall and would appreciate seeing your curriculum. I'll be teaching juniors and seniors in high school. I've been in the video production industry for ten years so I have the knowledge. I'm just not very confident in how to get started. I wanted to be a little more prepared before I start new teacher orientation. Thanks for your help.

It is true that there are many video production tutorials available in these days but choosing the right one is a great confusing. As per me including digital video production process which is the latest trend by using advanced computer programs is a better idea and also it will help to simplify the process.
